The SOS PARK, rephrased as «Strengthen One Self», is the main theme of the Shanghai Public safety Education Training Base. Through practical training, students develop themselves to become aware of safety knowledge by learning what they should do and how to conduct actual emergency situation. In other words, visitors will be proficient at identifying and overcoming dangerous situation after repetitive training.

Three purposes-guidelines of this center are as following:

1. Promote awareness of disaster at anytime, anywhere;

2. Keep training for safety consciousness and behavior;

3. Experience huge, complicated catastrophe in advance to respond smart later.
