The museum has all the long history and cultural heritage of the Democratic Republic of Congo, made up of 3 exhibition area:

The Temporary Exhibition 1 shows the history and daily life of DR Congo, the Temporary Exhibition 2 provides Congo people’s lifetime,

and the Special Exhibition exhibits traditional music instruments by classification.

These three zones make citizens be aware of historical consciousness and understand the strong message of the unity of the nation. Moreover, the museum functions as the main cultural exhibition center for people who do not have any specific cultural education facilities.
